BB RECRUITING Legacy commits to Ohio State

I knew it was a long-shot but from what little info I had we had a chance on Duane Washington Jr., 4 star point guard whose father was the best PG MT has ever had (IMHO) and the only MT perimeter player in my memory to play in the NBA.

Washington Jr.'s long list included UCLA and Michigan among other "national" programs. Gotta think it will be hard recruiting high-profile PGs this year with Dixon being a sophomore.

from what I understand, there are some rising legacies south of us in the state of Alabama (kidd and moore, iirc) though I have no more information than essentially that.

PJ Washington (Both mom and dad played at MT - mom better than dad) on this year's UK squad is the 2nd MT legacy in recent memory to play for the Cats. All $EC and 2nd team AA Jody Meeks (now with the Washington Wizzards in NBA) who played in the late 00s was the son of MT track star.
