IIRC Sims was the 3rd, 4th, or possibly even the 5th scoring option on Blackman's team even his Sr year. I remember wondering just why Davis had offered during his Jr. year when his Sr. year scoring was so unimpressive. Regardless, a PG would have to have a more impressive stat line to be more highly recruited.
Glad Davis noticed some potential and that McDevitt has found even more skills to develop.

My hats off to McDevitt! I wasn’t sure about his ability to coach up players. I know he can bring talent in I was worried about player development. Im off the ledge for now.

Sims has rapidly become a favorite. I know he has impressed me tremendously with his growth. By his play now, one could easily assume that Sims was a highly sought after 3 star recruit our of HS. I've seen a couple of the brief interviews with his parents, seem like wonderful people. Great to have folks like that in Murfreesboro.

In limited play under Kermit, Sims demonstrated potential to be a good contributor in Kermit's system. Namely, taking care of the ball and making good passes to scorers.

CNM has completely brought out in Sims an entirely new, unique, and great all around player. His transformation has been nothing short of amazing to watch over the course of the season.
