Can anyone give me the cliffs on who is injured and how important they are for MTSU?

Here is a quick list of VU injuries:

LT-Andrew Jelks - torn ACL in fall camp.
WR-CJ Duncan - Achilles injury in fall camp
TE - Deandre Woods - ACL vs. Austin Peay
LB - Nigel Bowden - concussion vs. UGA

Those are the starters or significant contributors who are out for VU. There are a couple other guys who are banged up but probable for this week.

It's college not the pros. Just like you we only know the serious ones. D. Jouhnson is out and Collis is likely still out but not certain according to the coaches show. The guys that had season enders from camp are out of course like your two listed. You're not going to get a list of injuries. It's not just us. Vandy has players that are dinged and are going to be limited or not play beyond the four that are listed. It's like people haven't followed college football.

Maybe I need to phrase this differently - is there anyone of importance that you guys don't think will play on Saturday? It doesn't have to be information straight from Coach Stockstill. Just give me a gut feeling.

Those are the only guys that I am aware of who will miss the game for Vanderbilt who are regular contributors. We've had some other injuries to reserves/special team players but those are the 4 of significance. The only other injury concern is Latevious Rayford - WR who sat out at Ole Miss but most expect back this weekend.

Other than Johnson who was preseason all conference but hasn't played this year and Collis who started the first two games. We should be pretty healthy but who knows.

Well scratch everything from the coaches show: d johnson probable. Walker is out.

Walker being out is out of left field and hurts. But the online may be full strength for the first time this year.
