It’s a just another prime example of how the MTSU Athletic Dept. “thinks” and operates. You have a Head Football Coach about to embark locally on a major promotional tour for the brand and his program (already on life support) and they release this pic of the “Blue Raider Bandito.”

Not a bad read. It does sound like Rick is ready to get that taste out of his mouth of back 2 back losing seasons. The program is on life support, if not basically dead, and we need a big year badly. We've got a pretty talented team but still a little young and inexperienced in some areas. We will need to grow up fast and be ready with Monmouth coming to town in Week 1. Seasons gonna come down to if Hockman is the real deal or not. If he's good and can stay healthy we should be a pretty good football team. If Hockman sucks or gets injured we may not win a game as the talent drop off is a huge beyond him.

This is going to be an interesting year because so many teams are getting players for 5th and 6th years that they normally wouldn't have had in the past. Transfers are also all playing without having to sit a year as well. With the addition of NIL being a thing now, CFB for 2021 is going to be something we've never seen before.

Can't freakin' wait. Hopeful we can put the pieces together and make it a good season.
