BASKETBALL Conference schedule set

Glad to see MT is starting conf play on the road to as late into Jan as possible. Students being out so late into Jan for Christmas break really hurts home conf game attendance. Not sure who's idea it was, but moving the start of the spring semester to so late into Jan has really hurt the basketball team's conf home attendance.
Back many years ago, I seem to recall being back from Christmas break and in class by about the end of the first week of Jan. If MT did have the first conf games at home, it would seem that maybe 2 games would be missed before classes started. I seem to recall that even a couple of those games would be just a couple of days before classes started when most students were already making it back to M'boro to get ready for the new semester.
I don't know if anything can be done to help MT basketball with the start of the semester or scheduling of early games away, but some sort of adjustment would be nice to maximize the crowds for those home conference games.
