FB RECRUITING Commitment No. 12 on the board!

The coaching staff has continued their assault on the state of South Carolina.

Their latest haul is 2-star ATH AJ Williams of Bamberg-Ehrhardt High. He is teammates with fellow '19 commit KeSean Brown.

Williams took to Twitter this afternoon to make his official announcement:



Williams is a name we've been discussing in the Lounge for quite some time now. Whereas Brown kind of surprised us with his pledge, Williams has been identified as a top target at the safety position for months now.

He's a two-way player for Bamberg, seeing time at QB in addition to the secondary. He's athletic as all get out, and considered by many to be one of the better players in the state at that classification. He ran for 14 TD's last year on offense, and picked off 3 passes on defense.

He chooses MT over offers from Marshall, Coastal Carolina, Georgia Southern, Appy State and others.

If anything it's encouraging Stanley not to wait much longer. FWIW both were top of the board safeties.

100% tweet him. We can talk all day long about what/how we think attendance sucks, dropping big games blah blah, but its simple things like tweeting a kid that we need to keep where we can actually make a difference.
