Nothing groundbreaking in that radio segment, but I did hear some positives.
For starters, it does sound like Massaro is going about this in a professional manner. That's always good.
The search firm sounds as if it is working out. Makes sense. Massaro can focus on the main details and factors about a new coach while the search firm is taking care of all the institutional policies that have to be addressed with applicants. Plus the firm handles all the logistics that can be distracting and time consuming.
Of note, Massaro seems to suggest that MT is getting the kind of interest that would be expected for an attractive job in a good place overall. Massaro is not having to sell that MT can win in the NCAA tourney. Coaching candidates now know who's MT and the kind of success possible at MT.
