FAU was the only team ready to play and they DESTROYED SMU. Other than that, CUSA is pretty awful. How does FIU beat Miami and then loses to us and Arky st.? This year has been so weird.

Skip Holtz is 6-0 in bowls with tech. First 10 win season in 35 years. Doesn't matter if they didn't play for the title. A bowl win over a P5 team on ESPN with 10 wins sets them up for a killer offseason.

Diaz is on the hot seat.

CUSA still has a chance to go .500 in the bowl season:

Bahamas Bowl: Charlotte vs Buffalo (MAC) L 9-31
Boca Raton Bowl (ABC): FAU vs SMU (AAC) W 52-28
Camellia Bowl FIU vs Ark State (SBC) L 26-34
New Orleans Bowl: UAB vs App State (SBC) L 17-31
Gasparilla Bowl: Marshall vs UCF (AAC) L 25-48
Independence Bowl: LaTech vs Miami (ACC) W 14-0

Mon 12/30, 12:30pm First Responders Bowl: WKU (8-4) vs WMU (MAC)
Sat 01/04, 11:30am Armed Forces Bowl: USM vs Tulane (AAC)

I’d still take him right now.

Southern Miss doesn't know how lucky they are by not playing a service academy in the Lockheed Martin (We love war - and our stockholders love us) Armed Forces Bowl.

Wrong forum.

You are quite correct in rebuffing me for bringing the appearance of a political opinion to this board. I see now how my statement, innocuous to me at the time written, was inappropriate. I have explained my position in the Water Cooler.
