FOOTBALL C-USA power rankings

The Athletic has a CUSA Preview, by Chris Vanini.

He has MT finishing 6th (last, with odu sitting out the season)

here is the excerpt for the Blue Raiders:

6. Middle Tennessee

The first season in the post-Brent Stockstill era did not go well, with a 4-8 record. In 2020, quarterback Asher O’Hara could again carry the bulk of the load. He rushed for 1,058 yards and passed for 2,616, but no running back reached 300 yards. MTSU added Power 5 transfer RBs Martell Pettaway and Amir Rasul, but both opted out of the season. The defense returns just three starters and will need to force more negative plays after recording only 11 sacks last year, second fewest in FBS. Perhaps no Group of 5 coaching staff has as much experience as MTSU with head coach Rick Stockstill, offensive coordinator Tony Franklin, defensive coordinator Scott Shafer and defensive line coach Tommy West. That experience will need to come through if the Blue Raiders are to bounce back in 2020.

Time to shine for MTSU and Coach Stockstill. Plain and simple. LOTS of eyes are going to be watching MTSU football this Fall.

Open up with a win at Army this weekend and keep it rolling. IMO, O'Hara has talent and will lead us to a good season.

Can't wait for Saturday.
