BB RECRUITING Another guard - Transfer from Maine!

So we've now signed 5 guards for next year. Not surprising since all three perimeter starters are gone along with the only guard sub who played at all.
But, only two of the new players have good, but not great, size for a D-1 player: Dodgen, 5'-10", and Payne @ 6'. The other three are 5'-8" or shorter. If nothing else we have proved in the last few years it's hard to win consistently at our level if you are short at most positions.
In other LR news, The Tennessean released it's All-Mid State team this week. Dodgen was 2nd team and Gregory was 3rd team. IMHO it's hard to build the women's BkB powerhouse Insell promised early in his tenure if you can't sign higher rated players in your own backyard.

The good news is in previous years it seemed like our guards were all under 5’8” and now we do have some size. Trending in the right direction.

I pay the extra to get the insiders stuff, but I have not seen anything about McDonalds.
