She does not appear on the ECU game notes. Anyone have any updates? I see she's still on the roster, so I am guessing it's a minor injury.

Hearing she entered the transfer portal.

If true, it's amazing what has happened to this team in a short time.

1. Our starting center gets injured and is out for the year.
2. Another potential starting center gets kicked off the team.
3. Starting forward now enters the transfer portal.

Don't think you can chalk it up to anything else other than "Middle luck".

Not surprising - she’s off the official roster now. FWIW, she’s a guard not a forward. But it’s definitely alarming.

There will be times this year when Jones will really be missed. Today we barely got by playing Sutton and both Hayes sisters for most of the game on the perimeter but they are all short, really short for D-1 BkB. Among the obvious problems are passing over a trap, defending a taller guard on the drive, and getting shots off. You can get by with one, or maybe two short players but three is asking for trouble. Alexis Whittington has the height but is too slow laterally to guard some wings. Thus we had to go to three short players today. Had Jones been available she would have had quality minutes today.
Somewhere someone said that Jones would lose PT to Whitson but that's clearly not the situation now with our unexpected lack of inside depth. Whitson will be a 4; Jones would have been a 3.

Downgrade for Jones, but she should play a bigger role and be more successful at TTU.
