Disappointing. I knew the P5 offers would come, but I didn’t think he would bolt the second he got his first power 5 offer. I thought we would lose him closer to November or December, with a small chance of him maybe sticking around.
oh well, better now than later so we can find someone else. I wonder if we keep Shane Elam now since I feel like a big part of his offer was because him and Colandrea are childhood friends. Or maybe Virginia will take Shane Elam too.
This one hurts. This guy would have been a great player for us. It's very unlikely we find somebody as good as him for this class.

i think recruiting will just get worse, but will it matter? MT once got kids based partially on them getting to go back home to play the big school who did not recruit them. Once the split happens, that will be gone. Haves will play the haves and the have nots with the have nots.
