OL RaiShaun McHaney from Indianapolis visited MTSU on Thursday and will visit UCF this weekend.

He will make a decision on Feb. 5 but as of now, it looks to be between MTSU, Army, UCF, and Eastern Illinois.

Needs some development but very athletic tackle. Could be a fun late addition to the class if MTSU were to land him

With 6' 8" height & looking at photo dude definitely looks more than 260 to me. Arms look very impressive. Put another 25-30 pounds on him & put money on his offer list goes up.

Need Defensive lineman!!!
Absolutely. Missed out on some guys and some things that were bound to happen just didn't, so I wouldn't be shocked to see them be active in the spring portal window there. For what it's worth they do have some solid young talent and Damonte Smith showed some good things over the back half of the season but they still need to upgrade the talent level there in a immediate sense badly IMO.

Won't disagree with you at all. And echo everything @Shayne_Pickering said.

Just piecing together portal signees and returning players (as a general rule, I don't expect / plan for HS signees to play significant minutes as true freshman), the big holes I see are front 7 (especially someone in the 6'3 270 pound range who can play DT or DE depending on if they are in a 3 or 4 man front), CB, and OL.

I'm not sure how many spots are left, but I could also see them wanting to add another LB, CB / nickel, and edge.

All that said, I'm kinda excited to see what the WR core looks like. With Evans (a 6'3 215 R-Fr), AJ Jones (transfer from Arizona) and Patterson (transfer from UCF), along with Carter / Butler, along with the TE signees, OC Bodie Reeder has some weapons to play with. Can he put them to good use?

Kind of surprised they didn't get a versatile DL piece that can get after the QB. Even with the one falling through, still should add more IMO. At this level, you're going to have to give up some things to bridge the gap. What can't happen is a no-show. Spring portal period will be huge. On the bright side, that period could prove to be advantageous for G5s as guys on P4s looking for playing time enter. We shall see...

On the topic @AustinLewis brought up about those long DL that are in that 270-280 range that can get after the QB, they will need to add some of that type in this 2026 class in a bad way. The board is still very small, so we shall see who they offer over the next 3-4 months.

One local name that could fit that description is BGA's Nate Fleming. He really stood out this year up front in Bobby Bentley's first year as head coach. He's finally starting to see offers come his way. Was on campus for multiple games. In that 6'3/250-260 range right now. We will see what other names could emerge.

One thing is for sure, going to have to leave the state for some high school lands in the trenches this class. Don't have the luxury to sit back and bank on a loaded in-state class like 25.
