FOOTBALL GoMiddle NCAA 25 Dynasty League sign ups ITT....

As someone who doesn’t game much (I have a Switch with Mario Kart and a handful of games), is the XBOX series S 512 GB to handle Madden / NCAA?

Yeah, I don't think the Series S would have many problems handling the new NCAA and Madden FB games. I don't know the most about the Xbox models since I have a PS5, but I would presume the Series X would just have better load times and (maybe) slightly better graphics compared to the Series S. I still stand by what I said in that the Series S would be the way to go if you are only going to use it to play the NCAA game. The Series X would be for people who would play multiple games and have concerns of hard drive space and game performance.

Update on construction....

The track was ripped out when we went D1 in the late 90’s. I’ll never forget that, I was on the track team when Lee Fowler came to talk to us about it. I was a freshman and was saddened to know I’d be spending my college career training on the president’s lawn.
The true track you are right. I was thinking it was still there before but I was wrong. Was just the concrete base that they pulled up a decade ago. Had to go look at an old picture to clarify what I was thinking in my head. Key word...old.
What about moving to natural grass?
As a football parent, I prefer grass. I've seen many injuries from turf even in the Smurf and Pee-Wee levels. And holy crap does that stuff get hot.
Honestly though, the upkeep cost for irrigation piping, water bills, mowing, regular painting, etc is probably a bit more over time as a single turf install. But grass looks soooo much better, especially with some landscaping around it.

Update on construction....

It is. Very much so.

Was installed for the '14 season, so this will be the 11th season.

In theory replacing it should cost less as the track removal happened last time, but with inflation and all it'll probably be the same.

We’re due for a replacement it seems. The old turf was 8 years old when it was replaced. This one is 10 years old now.

How old is our turf? It looks like it is aging.

Baseball finds replacement for Briggs Rutter

Haven't seen it posted yet, but the baseball team got a commitment from Cooper Clapp. Played it State Championship with Hardin County a couple years ago. Went to Notre Dame for a year, then to Juco in FL. Solid player at SS. Dad, Stubby, played in the bigs and is current 1st base coach for St. Louis Cardinals. Good get for the boys in blue!
Had solid numbers, and then you add in that he was only a redshirt freshman. Did have 7 errors defensively tho.
