MWC getting blown up

Boise, Fresno, Colorado state, SDSU joinin pac12 next year

This still leaves pac12 short 2 schools so look for MWC to lose two more after that, so six total.

Seems likely they will backfill with NMSU and UTEP. We should honestly just sit tight after the Missouri state add but I’m sure these clowns just won’t be able to resist the almighty Tarleton State.

Maybe Tarleton ends up in MWC. Or even pac12 who knows.

While Banshee's thoughts are crazy, there is a point that makes sense and that others did too.

A good rivalry goes back and forth. Not 1-8 the last 9 years. There's two full classes almost that have no idea of it being a true rivalry and the hatred from back in the day.

Let's hope this weekend changes that.
I also think having this game the same weekend every year would help too.

I'm kind of jealous of the students these days. They didn't have stuff like that when I was there. No Blue Zoo. No Party in the Grove. I don't even remember bus trips to games or anything like that.

I hope they realize the opportunities they have now to really help grow athletics for the future.

It's a shame Parker Hughes isn't playing. I've said since the first time I saw him on the field that he was going to be a star for us. Even when he was just a walk on and had not earned a ship yet and just played here and there. It was so apparent that he was a really good LB from the moment he stepped on the field. An absolute tackling machine with some of the best instincts at the position we've seen here at MT.

Now he's a first team Phil Steele CUSA pre-season LB with real potential to play on Sunday's if he can get just a little bigger. And he's bloody injured and not playing in the most important game of the year. Damn shame. He's a game changing X factor and not having him, in my opinion, will probably be the difference on Saturday.

I believe in this staff but we have to be better, there are other teams who got hit by the portal hard but have been better than we have been through two games.

The struggle for football coaches (and probably all of us) is we ALL believe our way is the best way of doing it. Coaches believe their scheme is the best way to use personnel, attack defenses, etc.

Ken Whisenhunt (when he was HC of Titans) was the perfect example. He always seemed to think he was smartest guy in the room, even when the offense was falling apart & they were losing games right / left.

Funny you say that because Marcus comes as a Journalism major. He’s not just BSing it either as he interned with Vegas Sports Today doing film breakdowns as part of their Raiders content and I want to say he did something with wrestling

When I talked with him after he committed, part of his decision was due to the fact that he could grow his brand in sports media here
