Update on construction....

I hope I'm not speaking out of turn from previous conversations with folks in the Dept, but the hope / plan is to start parts of Phase 2 ASAP after Floyd.

IOW, MT will probably not wait for "fully funded" to go ahead renovate the areas vacated by the football team. This will allow MT MBB, the athletic department, and other parts of the AD to spread the wings a little bit. And it could be completed for a relatively affordable price.

Getting suites built in MC & cleaning up / renovating the inside is absolutely critical for the long-term financial health of the dept. Suites = $$$. Having a few nice sections of nice, comfortable seats that you can charge a little more $$$ will be helpful too.
More excited to see a renovated Murphy Center than anything else. Indoor practice facility is a close second for me.

FOOTBALL Fall Camp, 2024

It was interesting to hear a few words in response to a question George Plaster on the state of the FB program left by the previous coach from former MT QB Kelly Holcomb on MT football at about the 135:45 mark of the video

Kelly is right, no outright title since 92 but we kept a coach that long? It was bare…

FB RECRUITING Commit Playing in the Boro Tonight

Seems like it was maybe another RB for Shelbyville Central in Robert Bailey that had the big night. I would assume Chandler didn't play then
You are correct, as it was another back. I revisited the Mboro Post website and all I originally payed attention to was the statement and not the name:
"MTSU commit Robert Bailey ran 34 times for over 300 yards and three touchdowns in the Golden Eagles’ victory."
I suppose they got their facts crossed or is this kid coming too?
