We lost a lot from a 4 win team last year, I have no reason for high expectations. I sat through Boots' first two seasons, where I waited for a first win til the last game of his first season and wins 2 and 3 til the last two games of his second season. And IIRC, MT lost to tech in the last game of his 4th season that denied MT a conference championship.

this is what happens when you have over 30 new transfers in. It will take time to gel. I’m willing to be patient. If we thought this thing wasn’t a rebuild then were kidding ourselves.

Tough game for sure, but I'm not in complete disarray yet. The weather was atrocious and the start time delayed by 2 hrs 40 mins; that almost always benefits the underdog by making the playing field more level. Honestly, the WKU game will be the big answer to how this season will go, in my opinion.

Glad we pulled it out. The reality was that we were gassed. The delay didn't help at all and we ran out of juice. The OC has to make Kelly the main part of the O. Stupid to not setup deep routes for him all game. Also, running Frank at the end was a great setup play. Find that faster. Ole Miss will be tough but WKU got smaked worse than we did by BAMA last year so I'm ok with it.

Crazy FCS weekend. Idaho kept #3 Oregon on the ropes till the 4th. Abilene took TX Tech to OT, SEMO covered vs NMSU.

TX St who many have as the G5 champ was 33pt favorite over Lamar. They only won by 7.

Liberty was 40pt fav over Campbell and only won by 17.

Win baby but man. They say biggest improvement is week 1 to 2. We will ignore that next week and use WKU as our improvement gauge and Lord we need improvement.
