Listened to Chip's post game interview with CNM & J. Porter. At least when Chip interviewed Porter post game he said not to worry & that Counter would be ok.
I'm not as confident as Jestin, but as Chip said "we like Dr Porter's medical report."

This didn’t age well.

Bradley is a really good team. I'll pretty much be shocked if we can win this, especially without Counter. I foresee turnover city on the horizon with a L.

At least we made the championship game and picked up two very solid wins. We need to get healthy and get home.

What is going on with the training in this program? The amount of season-ending knee injuries we've had the past 5 years is astonishing.

I don't know if Counter is out for the year but from what some saw it didn't look good.

Any word from CNM on Counter's condition yet? Love the confidence the team plays with when he's on the floor.

That would be great for him. I believe he deserves that & has more than earned that opportunity to shine. It would be great to see him represent MTSU in a senior bowl!!! Great for recruiting, etc. Not a good look to have a kid with that talent, size, and performance to get buried on an underperforming team. I hope we can find him more these next two games before his time at MTSU is complete. Would like to see our OL have two solid games to finish the season & allow Vattiato & the offense a chance to perform to their full abilities. Same for staff & play calling!

Had to leave before the end of the game and turned on our “flagship” WGNS. No game…just a talk show. Guess I shouldn’t be surprised😩

Team Comparison

Weston definitely in a bit of a funk and is always going to be a bit reckless as he’s never dropped the JUCO ball mindset.. but need him to do more of what he did at the end.. only guy that can single-handedly penetrate and draw multiple defenders resulting in the layup for Mostafa

Happy to see the Raiders play with a lead against a good team. It got scary for sure but South Florida getting 14 FTs in the first 8 minutes helped tremendously. Couldn’t play defense for about a 6 minute span without fouling.

Weston was a liability just trying to do too much with 2 quick turnovers and not playing defense on the backend. McDevitt proceeded to sit him for the next 10 minutes and rolled JP back over to PG. I would’ve loved to see us create more shots for JP like we did in the first, but with Counter out, there isn’t another good ball handler.

They did exactly what I thought they needed to in that first half — shoot the 3 and not turn the ball over. They did the opposite in the second but kudos for them for never giving that lead up. That speaks volume to the maturity of this group.

Can we just be happy about being 5-1? This "sky is falling" narrative gets old.

Got a little scary in the second half, but we weathered the storm and kept playing. So that is great!

Onto the Championship!

Weston did not have a great game, but with Counter out he will be needed. Porter can't run the point and score for us all game long.

Nice to see the team gather themselves after the big run by South Florida. Good win!
