We better get it going if it's gonna be a blow out. Trailing 37-25 at the half.

Only able to check score updates from time to time. What is wrong with the LR's? Troy has only won 4 games this year!

What a pathetic display this was. Goodbye at-large bid. We reverted back to our earlier form. Never led except maybe by 1 at the beginning of OT. Kortni missed 5 of 6 free throws at end of game and in OT. Just...wow...what a stinker.

somehow I am reminded of stories my father and his brothers told about working on the family farm with mules, where on occassion a mule would sull up and just not move and no amount of coaxing, whipping, yelling, would get the mule to move until it was good and ready. Just wondering if these players just tune Insell out at times.

Whatever the case...they were sure sleepwalking thru this game yesterday. And I have noticed that attitude more with this team than any other team he has had. Team does not seem as mentally tough.

Simply put, black girls are not going to take being yelled at like the white girls will....especially by a white coach. If someone thinks that race does not play a factor in such situations, they are delusional. I have talked to two former players of Insell, and they did not think kindly of him. The white girl said that the nicest thing that she could say about him was that he got results. The black girl described him with a long list of explicatives. Rick is not in Shelbyville anymore. He knows basketball, but I don't get the impression that he knows his girls very well. Kermit toned things down, and is now getting results. Maybe Insell should follow his lead.

MT drops from 41st to 55th after loss to Troy.

UALR up to 93rd.

wku's Michelle Clark-Heard: "I'm glad we've already got our 2 times that we play them out of the way."

She's talking about Troy, not the Lady Raiders

Sounds like my two year old.

You know what, I am sooooo damn tired of the mentality of young people these days. I am so tired of hearing how you have to "repackage" your delivery because either their generation or race doesn't respond to authority. I'm in my 30s and hardly removed from this generation.

When you choose to play, you better damn well listen and do what your told. You don't have a say RE: your coach. Makes me not want to support any athletics where the athlete runs the roost.

I'm not saying that this is the case but I got better stuff to do. Bear in mind that I'm all about the players. I believe in paying them. I believe in modern management styles. I also believe in respect and maturity.
